Leftover Thanksgiving Shepard’s Pie

Leftover Thanksgiving Shepard's Pie!

I was on the phone with my mother and complaining while making dinner the other night that I was running out of ideas to “revamp” our leftovers from Thanksgiving Dinner. She said, “make a Shepard’s Pie. Use the stuffing as a crust and the potatoes as the topping…” Thus how tonight’s dinner was born.

So here it is peoples! How to revamp those leftovers into Leftover Thanksgiving Shepard’s Pie:

Redneck Liver

I am sparing the picture this time :)

This was brought to me by Chris. It was something him and his dad used to make on camping trips and I have to say, it is A LOT better than the Spam burgers we had on mine as a child! It actually tastes really good. Add some seasoning and it is perfect. The liver looses a lot of the salty taste and almost tastes like a very game-y venison. Read more »

The CookBook

Welcome to my cookbook.

I have NO idea what I am doing! Reassuring isn’t it? Well I am not one of those who looks up recipes or measures things to par. Occasionally I cook from scratch and occasionally I use boxed or processed foods. You’re moving your mouse to click away from this page aren’t you?! DON’T!

Needless to say I have a knack for cooking and that is a good thing since we have many allergies in my household. I am allergic to the liquid form of milk. Jakin, my oldest, is allergic to wheat, dairy, soy, coconut, nuts, corn, eggs (white and yolk), and so many of the other staples in daily meals. Bam, my middle child, is only allergic to eggs. Shia, my youngest, has yet to be tested. Luckily, Chris is not allergic to anything and loves the meals I cook!
