Say it Saturday: Watching Competitions with the Hubster
We have talked about how my Husby tries to entertain himself with antics of Humble Pie and with telemarketers. Well he also likes to interact with either television or radio shows that ask questions or have judging. Today we watched back to back episodes of The Voice on E! These type of shows and info-mercials are what my Husby considers to be “Inter-Active” television. He is judge, jury, and very opinionated commentator. Here are a few quotes of the day: Read more
A Public Apology to Telemarketers World Wide
Everyone gets telemarketer calls. They are why we adore technology and cell phones. When someone you know calls their name and where they are(home, work, cell) pop up on caller ID. This gives us the option to screen our calls and avoid any interaction with telemarketers or otherwise unwanted callers. My husband, Chris, on the other hand gets giddy like a school girl with her first crush at the chance to talk to telemarketers… preferably those who are not automated.
This is a a true story of my husband entertains himself. (Occasionally others as well.)
Hi! I’m Crazy!
There is no denying I am crazy. No, not as in a bunny boiler. No, not as in psycho. No, not as in I sleep in a padded room. Not any of those bad stereotypes of crazy. Even then, are those really so bad?I am what people refer to as a good type of crazy. What this means, I have no idea. Maybe they forgot to take their pills or something?
Perhaps I don’t follow the ‘rules’ of establishment and society. Perhaps I have more quirks about me than most. Perhaps I am a bit unpredictable. All I know is I am me. And, I like that.
A new friend of TFOH, Big Mike, wrote a little post called Something To Sleep On. This reminded me of how even I consider myself crazy. Since a few of you reading have found interest in me ( my About, Bio, Random Facts 1, and RF2 stats are sky high) I figured I might share some of these things I do that I find crazy and yet somehow others find endearing or funny… Read more
Sinfully Summer and Other Musings
While attempting to engage my readers via Facebook, I made a deal with the devil. Okay, she really isn’t the devil but I imagine the devil so full of temptation to be scorching hot… And well, Stephanie is just that: beautiful, talented, and smart. AND she has a twin sister who is no less… Devilish if you ask me
Anyway, while finding out what she likes about this bloggage and what she wants more of, I did make a deal. I asked her if she had a request and she cunningly turned the tables on me. She challenged me to be her muse for a novel she is currently writing that has come to a tough spot. So I be an imagery muse for her and she will write a guest post for us
YAY! I can be devilish too! Don’t believe me? How about this titillating piece:

Buckle Up! Its Ride Or Die.
The thought of climbing in a metal can that weighs 400 times more than you and trying to control it while you are watching out for everyone else’s crazy self… Well, it scared the bejesus out of me. I wanted to move somewhere I would never have to drive. The thought of driving would make me claustrophobic, anxious, paranoid, and completely uneasy. And, I occasionally still get that way.
But, hey, driving isn’t about getting from point A to point B safely. It is about trying to rack up the points, piss off a multitude of people, and help them confirm their faith; right? So, here are some tips and tricks.

Say It Saturday: A Movie Spiderweb Thought
So it is now 3 am Saturday October 22. The baby is moments away from waking. It is an hour before we wake the family to take my husband on yet another business trip far away from love. I just finished watching Southland Tales for the second time… in a row.
So here I sit with a baby in my crossed legs bundled so tight. The laptop at my feet in my tossed bed. My closet light on shadowing my snoring husband like candlelight. Listening to some Moby with my thoughts hard as hell to wrap words around. I am going to try my best to explain, not that you need to bear witness. I just. I AM. So here it is: my spiderweb thought process in action. I warn you this will likely blow your mind for it will make absolutely no sense but the best sense. I dunno ask my husband.
I love controversial movies. I love anything that is raw, real, and daring. Showing parts of life and spirit that are often hidden, trivial, or depreciated sinks into my soul like heroin. I have to say this movie has jumped its way all the way into my top list. Those include: Quills, The Secretary, Requiem for a Dream, Great Expectations (my fav love story btw and yes I know that its f*cked up) etc… It is hard for me to just fall in love with a movie. It is also hard for me not to know the essentials of a plot and the outcome quickly as well. Pretty sure this is why husband accidentally watches new movies without me. Honestly I was lost when I watched this till the end. Granted I was having an out of body experience trying to watch the movie, please the baby, have a convo with the husby, clean, and manage my hole-where-tooth-was pain… You get it. The scenes, the wording, graphics, the visuals, the music… WOW. So many facets, so many thoughts, so many feelings. Read more
Awesomely Thankful
Some families say prayers before dinner. Some say grace. Some do nothing. We say what we are thankful for that day.
Our middle son is quite the natural comedian. At three years old saying thanks is a complex ideal but he tries his hardest and proves the most thankful little boy. He mentions everything he can within his sight as well as things he loves. Here are a few of Bam’s classic thankful-isms! Read more
